ONGOING  ASSIGNMENTS

Moon phases - Each night for 5 weeks you will record the phase of the moon. Shade in the portion that is dark, leaving the lit part white. If it's cloudy write cloudy in the circle. Be sure to record the date and TIME!

Sunset assignment - You will make 2 - 3 drawings over the course of the semester to show the location of the sun as it crosses the horizon. Make a simple drawing of your western horizon and the location of the sun as it sets. Your drawing must include accurate markings for the points on your horizon directly west, southwest and northwest AND the date and time of your observation.

You may do the sunrise instead if you prefer.
