Chemistry is a full year course offered to juniors and seniors.
Prerequisite are Algebra I and Natural Science.
The course is designed for students whose career goals are into science,
engineering, health professions, and environmental sciences. Students in
chemistry will investigate the composition, structure, properties of matter
and the chemical changes that matter undergoes. The course will emphasize
the importance of chemical reactions in our lives, the development of new
